It’s worth repeating our philosophy every week: You need to survive long enough in the contest to become contrarian, but you need to become contrarian at some point.

Our preseason mode, which you can find at NFLGold.shop, was high on using the Bears, Chiefs and Broncos this week. All of those teams still look like potentially good options this week, but let’s dig in a little further.

Kansas City Chiefs (87.9% to Win)

The Chiefs are on a roll right now and get star WR Rashee Rice back this week. This is an obvious spot to play KC given the 11.5-point spread. However, you will undoubtedly have more opportunities to play Mahomes and Co. later this season. Do we want to burn them in Week 7 against a divisional opponent that has won outright in Kansas City as big dogs before?

Other obvious opportunities to play KC include Week 16 vs. Titans, and Week 18 vs. Raiders.
